Maz
Maz has lived in Mortimer since 2011 and had a 20-year teaching career, spending the latter 13 delivering Physical Education at The Abbey School in Reading.
Passionate about the physical health and mental wellbeing of the community she left teaching in 2020, launching Shift-It Fitness to deliver Personal Training and Pre and Postnatal exercise.
She is a Level 3 Personal Trainer with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and a Level 3 Pre and Postnatal Instructor.
Maz is an elite Hockey player, currently representing England in her age group and playing National League in the Performance Squad at Reading Hockey Club. Off the hockey pitch she helps her own wellbeing by tending to her garden.
