Voice Activation and Kirtan

Join Emily Cobie, Hannah Lunar Rose and Kelly Pretty for an afternoon of Voice Activation and Kirtan at Soul Barns.

This event will help you to connect to your voice. You don't need to be able to sing to attend.

Did you know that our ancestors used to sit in circles and sing songs and it didn't matter how good they were ?? It was much more important that they could connect with each other and their soul. Let's do that together !!!

Emily Cobie is a student of Bhakti Yoga, the practice of devotional yoga. Her mission is to share the power of Mantra and chanting, mainly through Kirtan, as a way to connect to divinity and collective consciousness. Emily will be leading us through Kirtan.

Hannah Rose is an English song gather and story teller with no fixed abode. She loves to collect songs and stories from times long past and help to keep them alive. In particular Hannah loves songs from Ireland and Scotland, especially in Gaelic. When first starting to sing in Gaelic it felt like a remembrance to her, a coming home. Hannah will be singing Celtic songs connecting us to our ancestors.

Kelly Pretty will be taking us though some voice activation methods. Kelly has been on her spiritual journey for over 10 years and has hosted workshops and led meditations all over the world. Her passion is to help others to feel the medicine of music and the way in which it can heal our world.
