About the class
In this beautiful venue, Claire aims to reignite any past ballet training through some barre work, adage and centre work including pirouettes and some small jumps. The focus will be on co-ordination and improving posture through use of the core and developing awareness of the body in space. The class will use ballet steps and vocabulary to encourage technique, musicality and artistry.
What to wear & bring with you
Please wear something that you can move in, and allows you to extend the lines of your body. Traditionally in ballet we wear a leotard and tights, however, I know that some may not feel comfortable in this so leggings and a fitted top is absolutely fine too. You may want to wear layers in the colder months, and also a feel free to wear a skirt or shorts over leotards. Ballet shoes are best as they allow you to slide through the floor, but otherwise I would suggest bare feet as socks may cause you to slip.
Booking & Costs
Classes are Sunday 9am-10am for 5-week blocks costing £45 for the block.
Alternatively, if there is space available, you can book a drop-in class at £11
